Builders & Construction Cleans.

New build or renovation? Plaster splatter, paint flecks, silicone and stickers removed so the glass looks right on handover day.

The job

Builders Cleans, done properly

A construction clean is a different job to a maintenance clean, and it needs different technique. Glass coming off a building site carries plaster slurry, paint overspray, silicone smears, concrete splatter and the manufacturer's stickers — none of which come off with water and a squeegee.

Done wrong, you scratch the glass and it's a replacement pane, not a re-clean. It's worth having someone who's done it before.

Timed around your handover.

Wanaka is in the middle of a sustained building run, and I work with builders and project managers who need the glass right on a specific date — not sometime that week.

Tell me your handover date and I'll work back from it. If the site slips, that's fine, just let me know and we'll move it.

FAQs

Builders Cleans questions

Do you work directly with builders?
Yes — builders, project managers and homeowners. Whoever's coordinating the handover is who I'll deal with.
Can you scrape the glass safely?
Where it's needed and safe to do so, yes. Some coated and toughened glass can't be scraped without marking it, so it gets checked first and treated accordingly.
How much notice do you need?
The more the better during the busy season, but I'll always try to fit a handover in. Give me a call and we'll sort something.
